Significance of Training


Globalization has pitted many companies against each other. Under such cutthroat competition, each of the companies strives to excel. For standing out, the companies need to acquire certain differential points; primarily, these points are in terms of workforce quality. The quality of workforce encompasses its skill sets and knowledge. Several forward-thinking organizations are making training as their focal point.

Training is a methodic approach to learn and develop employees. Nowadays, most of the companies are sparing no efforts to train employees; as the trained personnel significantly contribute to a company’s growth. The growth of a company is measured in terms of revenue generation, increased productivity, cost reduction and collateral saving.





Benefits of training

Revenue generation: As per researches, close to 60% of IT Managers opine that a technical team’s skill set is its most crucial asset.  Companies that have earmarked resources for training have a notable rise in their profit margins. 
 Improved performance: Skill development and knowledge are critical for an organization’s health. As per study, a mobile manufacturing company, spending on training nearly tripled its productivity gains in a span of three years.

      Cost reduction: As per observers, whenever a large-sized company that periodically invests (a minimum amount) on training can significantly reduce its labor cost.   

Indirect saving: Researches point that a large-sized healthcare company was able to cut down on its bandwidth costs and server loads by making its employees learn new-age email policies and file storing techniques. These types of savings were unintended.

Successful companies design a training module that focuses on corporate mandates, essential leaning and future learning as well.  Generally, two types of training have gained prominence in the corporate realm – Informatica Training and IT training. Each of the organizations should carry out Training Need Assessment to determine which training module suits its need.
